The Andrews Air Show is a free air show at Joint Base Andrews in Camp Springs, Maryland, near Washington DC. The show features the Air Force's premier aerial demonstration team, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, performing fast-paced aerobatic maneuvers of two, four and six planes flying in formation. The United States Special Operations Command "Para-Commandos" Parachute Team will perform along with many other aerial and ground attractions. The show will return in 2017 and will commemorate the Air Force's 70th birthday. Aerial demonstrations include the Thunderbirds, Golden Knights, F-22 Demonstration Team, Shockwave Jet Truck, Class of 45, Geico Skytypers, Kent Pietsch, B-29 Doc, Patty Wagstaff, Matt Chapman, Tora, Tora, Tora!, B-25 Panchito, and B-17. More than 30 aircraft from a variety of military services and organizations will be on display including the F-16 Fighting Falcon, UH-1 Huey, KC-135, C-17 Globemaster III, E-3 Sentry, Us Army Dash 8, US Army Guardrail, C-5 Galaxy, TH-1, NASA Super Guppy, NASA WB-57, DHS Patrol Boat, and more.
